No, you will not find her in books;
No, you will not find her in movies
No, she doesn't fight with guns or swords,
No, not even with eloquent words or thought
But deep inside her walled-up heart
bravely, silently,
when her children go away.
No melencholy, no sad song,
No glorified parting;
But oh! those silent tears
From babyhood to the adulthood.
she suffers untold pain in bringing them up,
make many sacrifices
and one day, the children are gone.
they are there somewhere; yet not there.
Yet, she doesnt show her pain,
Fights a silent battle in her walled-up heart deep inside
until the day
The silent, unseen, unsung hero goes down.
With nobody to praise her for the battles she fought.
